WCC is a local counselling therapy service in Truro, NS, Canada. The counsellor, Ed Wohlmuth, specializes in Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and trauma. The idea for the logo and web design is to show compassion, sympathy and professionalism.

Design ideas and concepts
Smiley Face (Compassion)
Concept:
Everyone likes a smiley face as it can bring each individual closer. When we have a bad day or deal with a difficult situation, a nice and warm smile will cheer us up. WCC understands clients’ emotions and will always treat them with compassion.
Design:
The W letter is combined with a circle to shape it into a face. A smiley mouth is added with two eyes and letter C in them. It is finished with a small opening on the face and two lines of hair to bring the symbol into a lively and friendly style.
People United (Collaboration)
Concept:
We sometimes work in a team at work and at home, and that helps us to increase the value of our work. WCC has professional abilities to work with their clients and help them to find what they didn’t see in them and work together for the best solutions.
Design:
Using a hand writing style letter W to join two line drawings together as two people. The two small circles on the top of the W represent two heads; finishing with two Cs combined with the W symbol to create a completed WCC logo
Compass (Courage)
Concept:
Sometimes we can get lost in our journey of life. WCC is like a compass that can help and give clients directions and guidance to overcome their difficulties and find their way back to their life adventures.
Design:
Using a classic font style and combine a letter C with a simplistic compass graphic.
Color palette
Warmth and happiness is the characteristic of orange. It has the meaning of healing, cheerfulness and optimism.
Blue is sky and ocean. It brings calm and peace to our mind and body
